Update: After my second page on work at home scams I picked up the idea of searching for a site's IP address, then searching for other sites that use the same IP address. See 'followup' below.
I tried to post this to Rip Off Reports, but it kept freezing after I clicked the submit button. I don't know if it posted or posted correctly. So, here it is, well, here.
I started this page because I was annoyed by the commercials on tv for 46homeworker.com.
I guess the first thing I should point out is that everything on this page is hearsay / matter of opinion / gossip / etc.. I do not know for certain which, if any, of this information is true. I only know that this information appears in these places on the web. Definitely not slander because i'm not speaking. Let's see...is it libel? That would be false or malicious written word. Ah- I do not mean to expressly or implicitly state that any of this information is true. As far as commentary from me, it's entirely my opinion and not meant to reflect actual fact. This is the way I think things are, but this is not necessarily the way things actually are.
There are 3 sections on this page. The first section (here) is commentary, opinion, and conclusions based on my notes / research. The second section is my notes and research. All of this information is publicly available on the web. This page doesn't generate any new information. It only collects existing information. The third section is a re-print of an article I found from a page that is now defunct. I found the page on the wayback machine. In the event that the wayback machine loses it, I included it below.
So what's the story?
Work at home scams are scams that get you to believe you can make thousands of dollars a month working part time out of your home. It would not be correct to say that you can never make thousands of dollars working part time out of your home, but there are a number of red flags in the 46homeworker commercial. These same red flags apply to many scams, but i'm mainly looking at 46homeworker here.
Red Flag: They don't tell you what the work actually is. The fine print at the bottom of the screen indicates that...
Warning: BS ahead.
Red Flag: These are paid actors.
Warning: We're making stuff up.
Red Flag: These results are not typical.
Warning: What we offer doesn't do what we're saying it does.
Red Flag: No guarantee of income is expressed or implied.
Warning: It's not our fault that our product probably won't work.
The message, then, is that they're lying, their product doesn't do what they say it does, and it's not their fault if you don't realize they're lying to you. Scam, scam, scam.

Obviously i've already got the IP addresses for these sites. Let's see what whois has for us.
Whois for beastiallity.com, beastporn.com, beastyality.com, beastyality.org, childrenporn.org. Internet Domain, 23852 PCH #720, Malibu, CA 90265, 310-488-0403.
Whois for beastmpegs.com. P.O. Box 821650, Vancouver, WA 98682, 360-449-5933, BhI0ho@privacypost.com.
Whois for boys2fuck.com. Destiny Longleg, 1973 Verbania Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89134, 702-561-6483, destinylongleg@hotmail.com.
Whois for videopornogratis.net. Hidden whois info.
Google for 310-488-0403.
This page indicates that 310-488-0403 belongs to Kari Bian.
This page indicates that 310-488-0403 belongs to Steve Rocky Production, rockylive.com, malibutv@aol.com.
This page indicates that ye19.com is for sale from Success, 23852 PCH #720, Malibu, CA 90265, 310-488-0403.
This page indicates that Karim Bian is a writer-producer.
This page is very strange. Karim Bian, owning karimmovies.com, was offering $5 per fact for facts about the end of the world. ???. It also references this page, the IMB page for Karim Movies.
So it looks like Kari Karim Bian owns Karim Movies, which was the production company for The Iron Man (2006), David And Fatima (2008), and Secrets Of Life (2009). But Kari Karim Bian also owns beastiallity.com, beastporn.com, beastyality.com, beastyality.org, and childrenporn.org. Here's Kari Karim Bian's myspace page. His facebook page doesn't appear to exist any more, but here's the google cache. There's no harm in owning those domain names, but if there's anything at those sites that goes with what the names seem to indicate, then there's a big problem. I don't want to look and I can't look without potentially comitting a crime if what might be there is there, so I think that's as far as i'm willing to dig with the information i've got right now.
Notes
Here's the Wikipedia page for work at home schemes. Read that for the basics.
So let's see what we get by googling for 46homeworker and scam.
Here's a Yahoo Answers page about it. That page claims that 46homeworker's whois info resolves to LG Technology, 32840 Wolf Store Rd, Temecula, CA. Let's have a look.
Registrant: LG Technology, 32840 Wolf Store Rd, Temecula, CA, 800-453-5258.
This page indicates that 46homeworker was previously crazyfox.
The Yahoo Answer also references an Office Max at this location. Let's check on that. Officemax.com lists just one store in Temecula, on 32909 Highway 79 South, Temecula, CA. Doesn't look like that's it. Wolf Store Rd parallels the 79, so maybe. Google map directions and...looks like pretty close to the same place, but different sides of the block. Looking at the satellite image, there appears to be a series of offices at 32840 and (next door) an undeveloped plot. Office Max was under construction maybe?
Google for 800-453-5258.
This page shows 800-453-5258 as the contact number for LG Technology at 3840 Wolf Store Rd, Suite A, Temecula, CA, connected to 84.live.com, contact email domainadmin@lgtechno.com. Now we know the particular suite.
This page gives basically the same info, but connected to 71wantcash.com.
This page gives basically the same info, but connected to 89way.com.
Google for domainadmin@lgtechno.com.
This page gives the same info (32840 Wolf Store Rd, etc.), but for 7hbb.com.
This page gives basically the same info, but connected to 205hbb.com, company name REVshare
This page is expired, but appears to reference 02office.com. Whois for 02office.com gives basically the same info, but with the phone number 951-302-0178.
Google for 951-302-0178.
This page gives basically the same info, but connected to 09start.com.
Whois for lgtechno.com gives basically the same info, with 951-302-0178.
Temecula, CA is in the county of Riverside. Let's see if the business name "LG Technology" is registered there.
File R-200616395 with the county recorder shows LG Technology as being owned by Noveltec SEO Services, LLC.
Google for Noveltec SEO.
This page shows Noveltec at 2782 Gateway Rd, Carlsbad, CA, 760-579-4200, imetricsmedia.com, 10 employees, president David Inaba.
This page gives some of the same info, but also shows Noveltec as going by the name 'Direct Avenue.'
This page shows Noveltec as being at 32840 Wolf Store Rd Suite B, Temecula, CA, but with the phone number 951-302-4900.
This page leads to this page, which shows Noveltec SEO Services LLC as being at 5000 Birch St #410, Newport Beach, CA 92660.
Google for 2782 Gateway Rd, Carlsbad.
The first few hits seem to indicate that 2782 Gateway Rd is the location of Global Media Partners. It's not clear whether Global Media Partners is all of 2782 Gateway Rd and somehow associated with Noveltec, or if they just happen to have office space in the same building. This hit references someone purchasing 5740 ft^2 of office space at that address.
This page shows a bar at 2782 Gateway Rd. I think, absent seeing this address in person, there would appear to be multiple, separate businesses at this location.
Google for 760-579-4200.
This is the contact page for Direct Avenue Inc's corporate headquarters, 2701 Loker Ave West #140, Carlsbad, CA 92008. They offer 'direct response advertising.'
Google for imetricsmedia.com.
This page appears to be a resume for Tina Watkins, who used to work for Direct Avenue. The resume indicates that Direct Avenue used to go by the name iMetricsMedia.
Whois for imetricsmedia.com. Doesn't appear to be registered right now.
Google for David Inaba.
I should clarify here that I don't know whether or not any of these David Inabas are the same David Inaba. The combination of an unusual last name, a particular first name, and a consistent line of work would seem to indicate that it's the same guy, but this is by no means certain.
This page shows David Inaba as media director at Direct Avenue and president of an unspecified company.
This page shows David Inaba as a media buyer for Mercury Media, 520 Broadway #400, Santa Monica, CA 90401-2462. David Inaba works with Steve Nober (president and CEO), Dan Danielson (Co-CEO), and Jeffrey Mandell (CFO).
This page is an 8.18.05 article about teachers making a difference. It quotes a David Inaba and references him as being a 39 year old resident of Riverside, CA. That would make his date of birth on or between 8.19.65 and 8.18.66.
This page references David Inaba, age 43, as having resided in Daly City, CA, Riverside, CA, and The Lakes, NV. It's 2009 now, but not yet August. If he was 39 in the above article, he would be 43 now.
People searches for David Inaba.
This page (whitepages.com) lists 3 addresses for David Inaba. 32840 Wolf Store Rd, Temecula, CA. Based on info above, that appears to be (one of) his business address. 520 Broadway #400, Santa Monica, CA. That, also as above, appears to be a work address. He's listed as the president of Inaba Group at 4191 University Ave, Riverside, CA 92501-3139. Looking on Google Maps, that's a residential neighborhood, so this appears to be his home address.
Google for 951-302-4900.
This page shows this number coming from Direct Avenue, directavenue.com. I keep seeing the term 'direct response.' What does it mean I wonder. Here's the wikipedia page. Makes sense. Infomercials and all that.
This page shows Direct Avenue at 32840 Wolf Store Rd, Temecula.
This page shows DirectAvenue Inc at 2701 Loker Ave West #140, Carlsbad, CA.
File R-200802777 with the Riverside County Recorder shows the Inaba Group as registered by David Toshio Inaba and Marlene Elizabeth Parson.
This page (whitepages.com) shows Marlene Parson as being employed by the Inaba Group at 4191 University Ave, Riverside, CA. With google maps showing this as a residential neighborhood, this appears to be where David Inaba and Marlene Parson reside together.

This page references 343crazyfox.com at 32840 Wolf Store Rd, Temecula, CA.
This page references Clifford's Inline Performance Products at 32840-B Wolf Store Rd, Temecula, CA, cliffordperformance.com. The whois info for cliffordperformance.com and cliffordperformance.net both point to Wildomar, CA, which is about 15 min up the road from Temecula. The address is an exact match, but looking at CIPP's web site, it doesn't smack of being associated with any of this marketing junk.
This page shows crazyfox.com as being registered to LG Technology at 32840 Wolf Store Rd, Temecula, CA.
This page references an event called 'Humanitarian Gala' at 32840 Wolf Store Rd Suite B, Temecula, CA, 951-302-1107 and 866-617-0354. This page also references directsamaritan.org.

Google for crazyfox.
This page says crazyfox ends up being Herbalife. I've heard of Herbalife many times over the years, but i've never read up on them. This page explains that, if you enter (fake) information on the first page, then look at the privacy policy on the second page, workpartime@home, BMI, and e-Team Marketing Inc, and that googling for those terms results in Herbalife.
Here's a Yahoo Answers page talking about crazyfox. This page references 73crazyfox.com, 7crazyfox.com, 6crazyfox.com, 18crazyfox.com, 30crazyfox.com, 25crazyfox.com, 9crazyfox.com, and 74crazyfox.com. Also 125crazyfox.com and 65crazyfox.com. One of the posters claims these to be the same people as 54workathome.com and 23extracash.com. And crazyfox.com.

50homeworker.com is owned by LG Technology, 32840 Wolf Store Rd, Temecula, CA.
Crazyfox.com does have a much longer privacy policy on the second page than on the first page, but I wasn't able to find any specific references to BMI, e-team marketing, etc.. Crazyfox..com now re-directs to this site, which appears to be hawking 'google money tree,' in turn through googlemoneytree.com.
The whois for googlemoneytree.com appears to be privacy protected by Blue Host in Orem, UT.
Ripoffreports.
This report shows crazyfox as owning 50wolf.com. One poster indicates that, at the end of one of their DVDs, it's revealed to be Herbalife. The problem is that poster didn't explain how, without buying the DVD, someone an else can arrive at this conclusion. The idea that ends up being Herbalife smells right, but I don't want to say I believe it unless I have a chain of information that I can follow.
This report indicates that several companies and domains are LG Technology. #hbb.com (any number in place of '#,' including 127 and 128) aka Home Based Business. #gain.com, including 12 and 21. Registered to Prospect Performance, LLC, 9901 E Valley Ranch Parkway, Irving, TX 75063, Sam Guerra, 702-218-6242. Prospect also at 1401 Arville St Suite B, Las Vegas, NV 89102, 702-218-6242. Sam Guerra is also listed at 9126 Jasmine Ln, Irving, TX 75063, 469-867-1535.

It has a post from one Mr Jerry Pournelle, president and CEO of Last Second Media Inc. Pournelle threatens the site with potential slander and libel suits. That being said, let's have a look at Last Second Media.
Google for last second media inc and we get lastsecondmedia.tv.

Lead generation on TV and radio - Guerra Communications
I heard this AWFUL radio commercial for addmorecash.com, it was so bad I had to check it out. Then I did a google for addmorecash and the only relevant link was for Craigs blog posting career scam with a tons of interesting info. Its sad to see how the most desperate people even pay for this crap.
Theres also this moron attorney Robert Cerny, Esq. posting his idiotic comments, in the original topic and the prospect performance scam update
Craig summed it up real well:
Terry, I never said anything about all leads services being sleazy, but Ill say it now. Leads services are sleazy. Its a sleazy industry. Network marketing is a sleazy industry. Pyramid schemes are sleazy. You are sleazy.
The more I learn about lead generation, the more repulsive it gets. And as of right now, I cant find a privacy policy at
http://addmorecash.com/ - just lots of misrepresentations. How clever to quote the Office of Advocacy, Small Business Administration. Im sure a lot of people fall for this crap.
Prospect Performance contact info:
Prospect Performance, LLC
1401 Arville St.
Suite B
Las Vegas, NV 89102
Phone: 1.702-218-6242
But the site also lists an Irving, TX address and Guerra Communications. I dont know why the FTC doesnt shut them down.
Heres a small sample of the websites theyve been using:
xcareer.com
xcareers.com
xmoney.com
xmoremoney.com
xincome.com
xmoreincome.com
xwork.com
xmyfuture.com
xyourfuture.com
xmycareer.com
xnewfuture.com
xearnmore.com
xearnings.com
addmorecash.com
increaseyourworth.com
xgain.com
xearningpower.com
Just like the mortgage sites. Although I dont think the mortgage sites are advertised on TV or radio, they just spam and junk fax.

A big thank you for the hearty souls participating in these comments about the sales lead company, Prospect Performance and Guerra Communications
LLC. Our thanks goes out to Craig Cook and Focal Curve ([deleted]) as well as Christine at
http://www.Creditfactors.com for providing a forum for people to express concerns about the work-from-home industry. There sure are some scams in the MLM field and that's why we're glad there's finally a consumer advocate like Guerra Communications who forces MLM companies to act legitimately and honestly. Without the threat of Guerra Communications taking away their television-generated leads, some less-than-legitimate companies might not have a reason to treat potential customers fairly and legally under the anonymousness of online marketing. With Guerra Communications there is now recourse for consumers. Guerra Communications does take consumer concerns seriously and read these notes. Where theres a good idea, our client will act on your suggestions. Forums like Focal Curve and CreditSuit.org offer a way for our client to improve thier business without the expense of focus groups and surveys. Again Craig and Christine, thanks again for the free service. WARNING A brief note to advise those posting on this site...Multi-million dollar companies will spend thousands of dollars on legal representation to defend against slander, libel and tortious business interference. You could be prosecuted and be personally subject to massive legal costs as well as actual and up to treble punitive damages. Just be careful what you say. Opinions are valued...libel and slander may not hide behind the anonymousness of a bulletin board or
blog. Please feel free to email me directly should you have questions about this client, their activities, or just wish to share your comments on this industry.

Mr. Pournelle is sure making his rounds. I see it as an encouraging sign when someone has to flaunt credentials and thinly veiled threats of legal action because someone has the audacity to point out the shady side of his industry. That tells me they have a reason to be worried, and rather than making the effort to actually clean up their act (not really possible when your industry is the low-handed sale of desperate people), would rather try weak little intimidation tactics to suppress the free trade of information.
Such tactics are definitely worthy of a multi-million dollar industry. I'm sure Mr. Gotti would agree.

You bet. I was of course aware that this posting would be found by lots of people searching after they were scammed.
Anyone who generates leads for scams like addmorecash.com - I still hear those ads - ought to be charged with criminal fraud. Why aren't the lead generators in jail?
Because the victims are desperate and broke and nobody gives a damn.
These lead generators are SCUM.
Posted by Christine on 02/24 at 07:46 PM | #
Christine, would you be so kind as to edit Frank's comment and remove my private phone number?
Posted by Craig C. on 03/01 at 11:50 PM | #
Craig, no problem - sorry about that.
Am STILL hearing the addmorecash.com commercials. If I had more time I'd contact XM to find out which affilate sells the ads and I'd put them on notice of the illegal advertisements.
I think it would be fairly easy to get stations to drop the commercials - they don't want to be sued and held liable for false advertising.

Frank Pournelle left a threatening message for me:
3/2/05 Frank Pournelle VM
That explains why there are so few posted complaints.
Mr. Pournelle, if you have a problem with anything I publish, you need to first of all explain what you have to do with those scummy ads, what you object to and you need to do it in writing.
My fax # is 571-222-1000
Please also provide me with sworn affidavits from the morons providing the testimonials in the addmorecash.com ads, explaining how they make hundreds of thousands of dollars. I'd also like to see their tax returns.
I believe the addmorecash.com advertisments to be entirely FALSE, if anyone makes that much money with no skills it's by engaging in illegal activities, such as spamming, defrauding people, etc.
If it turns out that I'm wrong and we can all become millionaires by going to that website, I'll gladly provide my testimonial - once I made that kind of money.
Ack!!! I just heard another ad, this one targeting women. What do they do to make $5K/month in their
pyjamas? Phone sex?

Just to put my two cents in -
If you can't get information from a MLM company without strings attatched, it isn't worth it. Any MLM company should be straightforward, honest, aboveboard, and be able to provide you with information BEFORE you provide any contact info. They need you more than you need them.
The best MLM's are the ones that talk to you in person. The MLM I engage in is straight up, honest and does not demand info from me unless I am willing to provide it. They provide info to me on my request, and I may leave at any time. Everything is done in person, with real people. The Internet is a tool, not the method of creating the wealth!
It's all about trust - and this group doesn't illict my trust at all.
Posted by Chris on 03/06 at 03:58 PM | #
I would never believe anything at any MLM presentation. As a matter of fact, MLMs in general are nothing but SCAMS - LIES - FRAUD - DECEPTION
Why would you TRUST anyone who makes their money at the expense of others?
If you have a good product, you don't need to have "parties" to sell your crap. You don't need to
spam. You don't need to junk fax. And you certainly don't need a MLM.
I don't know of a good product available through a MLM.
I see no reason to pay more for a product to make some people rich who add no value and do nothing.

Here's the ad I find so repulsive:
The 3-7-05 recording of the addmorecash.com commercial on XM radio Ch. 165 - Coast to Coast.
"Respond NOW while this is still a FREE service!"
Are they going to CHARGE people for being added to spam lists and having their personal data sold to marketers?
If you have some spare time, I'd like to post a transcript.

The 3/8/05 recording of the homebiz7.com commercial on XM radio Ch. 165 - Coast to Coast.
Apparently you have to <
PAY SHIPPING for this FREE "work from home training package." Can you say SCAM?
The site goes to a mirror and they want me to download something, I only see half the page. I don't think I'll download anything at that site.

I wonder if Prospect Performance is still located here: (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=9901+east+Valley+Ranch+parkway,+irving,+texas&ll=32.940220,-96.950462&spn=0.004882,0.007522&t=k&hl=en)
Anybody living around there should create a fake resume & fake identity and apply for a job there.

For all of you that don't believe that MLM's can make you a lot of money, don't bother to read this. You obviously don't know the truth. Yes there are some illegit companies out there, however, why would Cingular Wireless,
DishNetwork, MCI, XM satellite radio etc parter with a company that is a scam? Many companies are starting to realize the power of MLM just like the ones I just mentioned. If they see the power of MLM why don't you?!
Posted by CStiles on 07/13 at 04:18 PM | #
CStiles, selling crack can make you a lot of money too. You're an idiot.
